The $\mu-\tau$ reflection symmetry of the lepton mixing matrix accommodates maximal atmospheric ($\theta_{23}=\pi/4$) as well Dirac CP phase ($\delta=\pm \pi/2$) for case. In standard parametrization PMNS symmetric nature is not directly visible while substituting values parameters. This issue has been addressed in this paper. It found that 'standard' can be restored by allowing Majorana phases ($\alpha$, $\beta$) well, along with $\delta$. To accommodate non-maximal $\theta_{23}$ and $\delta$ we consider charged contributions to neutrino implement proposed scheme matrix. correction succeeds prediction parameters consistent global $3\nu$ oscillation data.
